Every passport and visa specification published on ImageGates is sourced from official issuing authorities (the U.S. Department of State, HM Passport Office, IRCC, Passport Seva, Schengen consulates, and equivalent bodies) and cross-referenced against ICAO Doc 9303 — the international standard for machine-readable travel documents. Our editorial team re-verifies country specs quarterly and patches affected pages within 7 days of any official rule change.
Despite this rigor, government rules change without notice, and individual reviewers sometimes apply discretion that goes beyond published requirements. ImageGates is therefore published as an editorial reference, not as a guarantee. Always confirm the latest requirements with the relevant issuing authority before submitting any application.

All compression, resizing, format-conversion, cropping, rotation, background-removal and PDF tools run inside your browser using open-source libraries (mozJPEG, libwebp, pdf-lib, ISNet segmentation). While we test extensively across modern browsers and devices, no software is bug-free. We strongly recommend reviewing any critical output — visa photos, signed PDFs, compressed legal documents, scanned passports — before relying on it. We are not liable for application rejections, missed deadlines or other consequences arising from tool output.
